Oh! Don’t they look yummy?! They taste good too! 🙂 The head lady at the RAC is fund raising for her granddaughter – selling enchiladas. My Hunny doesnt really like mexican food. So, i have it allllll to myself. ❤
That looks like just a little bit of food but it is in a 20oz. Corelle Pasta bowl that I got the other day. I love the Corelle dishes. I just wish they would make some with a silver edge like a set of fine China. You guys at Corelle hear me on that? Anyway, I’m having lunch and off to organize. I got my supplies in the mail today! Yay!
Loving the stencil storage area above my desk & pre-prepped sewing area. When I get the urge to sew or use my stencils: I just pull out, or down, what I want to use and put it back when I’m done. LoooOoove it!
Here is my pen & marker storage! This is JUST for the ones I use the most. I love this little spinner. It is the best size for carrying from one place to another and spins to help me find the color I’m looking for. I have it organized my color scheme. I seem to be (what I call) a stick media junkie. So the rest of my colored media in “stick” form will have to go in a seperate spinner (bigger and not as easy to move) until I can get a few more of the little ones like this.
In other news… (lol) I cleared off the top of the closet and am using for my books and binders for now.
I only have the shelf liner on the section that has the polka dot tape. I make laundry soap in the big bucket (& it makes a nice ottoman with a cushion btw). So, that stays there. I can put all the stuff inside it when it is empty of soap. So, it is pretty light & I won’t hurt myself putting it up there. The pink basket has sewing notions in it and I think I’ll keep it there. It is nice and handy when I want to sew.
So, that’s what is new with me!
I got this clear acrylic storage this weekend and filled it up super quick with all my gorgeous colored media. So neat!
The three pans you see in the photo, sitting around it, are my gelli plates that I reformed and poured today. They don’t look like much now but they will make some very pretty papers later! 😀
So, that’s what I’ve been up to so far. See you later, guys! 🙂
I wanted to show off my little potholder I made in a class a while back. I really need to start posting when I’ve done something! Oh, well… I’m catching up. 😉 This was made at, my friend, Jamie’s class. It was a fun little class they had at The Calico Cow called Willy Wonky Potholder (correct me if I’m wrong Jamie!).
Here it is in use. It is a fun little project and if you are new to quilting or sewing it would be a perfect intro. I love the bright colors and it is super handy to have around.
I finished my purse on the 11th and have been so busy I forgot (until now) to post about it! The pattern is “Barbados Bag” by Pink Sand Beach Designs and they have it at The Calico Cow and probably your local quilt store too. It took me 3 days, of going back to it after being frustrated, to finish! I think the finished bag is worth the extra effort.
My Hunny brought me roses. ❤ Something I wasn't expecting. They are so beautiful and simply elegant (the way I like things). 😀 I get to enjoy them for a few more days ❤ Thanks my Love ❤
